Kaleb is a dead ringer for his dad. When he was younger I couldn’t tell, the one day, I just saw it. He has the same expressions as Mark. Exactly. The. Same. It’s totally adorable.

The Zenter’s– Contest Winners
Last year I did a contest where I had my clients post on Facebook why they deserved a free photo session. They had their friends like their page and Melissa won. She deserved to win. This was her post:
“Why we deserve a free shoot. We had you do a shoot with us when I was pregnant with my 2nd son in 2010 and we loved the photos. We are now facing the worst nightmare, our 4 1/2 year old has Leukemia. We would love photos of him and our family as we have learned to appreciate all the smaller things in life…especially family. My son is a real life hero and I would love to capture that!”
I cried over so many of the entries, including this one. I wish I could have afforded to give them all free sessions, but I was happy to be able to do one.
This is Jayden, and he is awesome. He did such a great job, but his siblings did too!
The Carroll’s
The Vera’s
Teegan
Since I posted Melissa and Ritchie’s Maternity session yesterday, I thought I should post Teegan’s newborn photos. (Notice a theme? This has happened three times in the last month… lol Catching up! I’m close for the first time in two years!)
I swear, Teegan is a little doll! We did a session a couple of weeks ago and he’s the perfect little baby! I love him. Granted, we have the bink in a lot of the photos… but still. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do!
Update: Children
Get ready and hold on tight. This is going to be a HUGE one. 73 photos, 16 different sessions!
First up, JJ. He’s 3. I can’t beleieve it. He has gotten so much bigger and he looks so much like a little man now compared to last year.
Meet Anthony. He makes the BEST faces. =) I mean really, you have to love them.
Josiah. He and his sisters were SO much fun. He has such a big personality and he LOVES his big sisters.
Peyton. We have two posts with Miss Peyton. Her 3 month photos and then her 6 month session. I am totally in love with her. I am also totally biased because her Mom, Ryann, is one of my oldest friends. I was totally excited to do these photos.
Look at how much bigger she got!
Guilliana is turning 1! And Raymond 3. Joesph just gets to be the cute older brother. Another instance where I get to do photos for my childhood friends children. Why do they all make such cute kids??
Deegan. AGAIN with the childhood friend. He has such an expressive face. I fell in love instantly.
Junior. He got SO big. I couldn’t believe it. It had been too long since the last session. It was done during the Christmas Mini Sessions.
Ahh, Gianna and Clayton. This was the FIRST time Gianna was not wanting to take photos. Normally, shes my perfect little angel and Clayton hates the pictures. Not this time, this time was opposite.
Avery! LOVE Avery. =) 6 months makes such a difference when you compare them to these.
My first Kaleb in this post. These two are SO close in age. I love them. My albums are all labeled Kaleb F or Kaleb B with months and years. lol. This guy’s smile is infectious!
Olivia, the oldest sister, Ava, the little sister, and baby brother Jacob. Normally, I love talking about the little ones, but I really connected with Olivia on this session. She reminded me so much of myself in high school and I was so impressed with what a great big sister she was. Ava and Jacob love her so much and really look up to her.
Isabella and Delilah. This is one of the most recent sessions in this blog. We went to a park in Dublin and I was so impressed with its size and the different background options. Then we went to this awesome pumpkin patch!
LOOK AT THIS LION!
This was the end of an Oh Baby! package. Dominick’s one year session. I love the Kallie & James always want to be in his photos. I love they document their family and thier son’s growth at the same time. =)
Dominick didn’t like the cake very much. So Mom and Dad had fun getting messy with him. He loved that.
Here is Kaleb number 2. Kaleb B. His one year session is the best way to end this blog. I can’t believe how fast his first year has gone by. Way too fast. He looks just like his Dad. Just like him. lol
Massive Update: Families
This week has been so overwhelmingly amazing. I ran a contest on facebook where people posted why they deserved a free photo session. First of all, I got way more response than I expected. Second of all, the stories were so amazing and touching. Every single person deserved a free session. I just wish I had the time and resources to make that happen. The family who won was one that made me cry. This was her post.
There were many more just as heartbreaking stories. I am honored all of these amazing and strong people want me to capture their memories.
The second major event was winning the city newspaper contest, Best of Brentwood! They do three winners in each category; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. I won Gold for the second year in a row!!! Two years ago, I won Bronze. I am so grateful, thankful and blessed that I have that many people who admire my work so much they are willing to take the time to vote for me! It is truly awesome. I had gotten the message when I was unavailable and I was driving when I listened to the voice mail. I screamed so loud I had to listen to it again because I couldn’t hear the end. It was coming out of my car speakers too!
I’ve neglected this blog. I’ve been busy. I moved. None of these reasons is a really great excuse to explain my over a month absence…..I promise to be better. I say that a lot, I know. It will happen one day!
This time around, I wanted to update different categories instead of doing a big month post at a time. Today is families (obviously). I’ll do an update for children, maternity, and newborns in the next week or so. I finally found a way to catch up. In the mean time, enjoy!
This family was a lot of fun. They don’t get to get together often. Unfortunately they were all brought together by a death in the family but it was great they took the unfortunate event and used it to capture these great memories.
You can tell they grew up in the same house, right?
I love Trinity. And Stephanie. And Rich. Trinity might be my favorite though. She is just too cute for words. I have gotten to see her grow since she was just a few weeks old! I can’t believe how big she has gotten and I am sure she is bigger now.
Meet Bella. How can you not love that smile? This was a Mother’s day session I did of Bella and her mother, Danielle. I just got to see them again this past weekend. I love my job.
This is Tiffany, and her daughter, Allie, and son, Braden. I had lots of fun with them. Allie and Braden had so much energy!
Some of my all time favorite clients right here. Maybe because Tawnee has been working with my since the very start of my business. Maybe because Tristan has had such a huge personality from day one. I just can’t get enough of him.
If you follow me on facebook, you saw a sneak peek of this session the other day. These are the Navarette’s. Sonya, Daniel, Jojo and Jackie. Oh and Brooklyn in Mommy’s tummy. I can’t wait to meet her. Cannot wait.
Blake! He has grown into such a handsome little man. I am so proud of Lacey for raising such a fun, happy little guy!
Ashley, Ryan & Kaleb
Back to the fall family theme. =) Kaleb always takes great pictures, and I loved working with his parents in front of the camera rather than just sharing the space behind with them. With Kaleb’s beautiful eyes, I can’t wait to watch him grow up and I love that I may have the privilege to do so!
This, is Kaleb’s awesome uncle, Daniel.
The Gandrup’s
Oh-my-goodness did I have fun on this shoot. The boys were hilarious. I heard all sorts of stories about the stuff they were into, and we were coming up with fake tv shows and they were cracking up the whole time. Their parents were just as fun. We just laughed and laughed and laughed the whole time.
This was one of the very first shots. You can see how much fun we had!
